27th July 2006
A full day in Luzern! It is a wonderful city. Parking is a big problem but if you park in the blue lines and buy the correct ticket at tourist info you are on your way. If not- you will get a fine! We almost did, just a few minutes late...
There is a lovely lake and everyone swims in it in the summer- Rich had a swim to cool off in his sexy cycling pants!
We strolled along the lake, lots of parks and beautiful flowers and we walked around the city- of course; famous for the dying lion monument.
We went to a Starbucks for the first time- R50 later for one drink.
There was a jazz festival outside along the water so we went to see what it was all about. If that is Jazz my name is Josephine. It was a fun vibe- lots of fast food and alcohol and ppl. It started to drizzle so we headed back to our lovely hotel Schluzzel. Only 5minute walk from the old town and very helpful. There are meals served in the piazza outside the hotel, traditional good food. Very well priced too.
