We went to the 'beach' and spent the day chilling. The lake was wonderful to swim in and we lay in the sun and relaxed almost the entire day. (with a picnic)
We said goodbye to our friends and headed for Austria. There was so much construction that we both did not see the border where one is supposed to buy a sticker for the car to allow one to drive on the autoway. We passed it and next minute a traffic officer stops us and wants to fine us. We were very nice to him and he let us off 120 Euro fine. That was not a good way to start in a new country. The journey was very pretty getting to the Alps again but there were so many tunnels and long ones too. I think the one was 10km long- quite claustrophobic.
At one stage ppl were flying on the highway- minimum speed 140km/hr Hectic! We got to Innsbruck quite late at night, checked into our hotel and went to get dinner. While walking in the town, we saw a classical music show, so we watched for about 10 minutes before getting our dinner.
