A day in Capri!
We arrived in Capri and it was so crowded with people, everyone pushing in different directions. We could either take the funicular up to Capri town or walk. We decided to take a little bit of a steep walk up and arrived a bit sweaty at the top of the hill. The views were lovely. We bought our lunch with Grant and Nikki from the supermarket and headed down loads of steps to the beach. We found a little beach with pebbles, big rocks, a cave and clear water. We made our turkey and emmenthaler sandwiches, had some olives, plums and Pringles and enjoyed the beach. It was a lovely day on the island and we didn’t get to Anacapri, but I am sure it is pretty their too. The island was very much like Amalfi and Positano with steep windy narrow roads and great views overlooking the ocean. It is quite expensive getting to Capri by ferry and don’t rely on the timetable, they change it as they wish. It seems quite over-rated if you asked me.
