We had to wake up at 5h45 so that we could get a tram, a train and then a bus to the airport. It all worked like clockwork and we checked in for our flight to Vienna. It was such a stupid quick flight and we were so irritated that we had to fly but it was all because of my visas back home. The plane was tiny and had propellers and I was not looking forward to the flight. Anyway, we get to the airport in Vienna and our luggage didn’t arrive. Now we were really frustrated that we had to do the flight but happy because we didn’t have to schlep our bags to our hotel. We caught another two trains and finally arrived at our road where we were staying. We bought a quick sandwich and were given cake for free. Then we walked a bit further and were given popcorn for free and we arrived at a stunning hotel for a more stunning price. We got a great deal on the hotel but we still had no luggage. We went to a lovely beer garden for lunch and had a Radler and Wiener schnitzel. Vienna is amazing and the city is so pretty. We walked in the parks and strolled through the city and when we got back to our hotel our luggage was there. All went so well and we had dinner in a 15th century cellar. Authentic Austrian cuisine and atmosphere.
