We had a morning in Munich and we spent it walking around. We visited Odeonplatz and the Residence, walked to Hofburg and then through the English Gardens. They are huge and very beautiful. It is really amazing that one can escape the city hustle and bustle so easily. There were nudists sunbathing on the lawn, people walking and cycling and paddling on the lake or just relaxing by the lake. We then had to catch a few buses and trains so we left for the airport early and made our way to the Diners Club lounge. We met a lovely lady named Gloria who gave us a few good tips about India. Sitting in the lounge, munching on pretzels and biscuits, we were sad to leave Europe. I guess we are excited about our new venture!
