2 December, 06
We spent the morning sitting at the pool with half our washing on the bench next to us drying in the sun. It was so relaxing lying at a pool and actually doing nothing. It was really hot so we were in and out the pool trying to cool down. We had to check out by 13h00 and so we headed into the city to do some serious shopping. The market was hot and sticky and it was tough to bargain with them. They don’t care if you do not buy at their price, they tell you to move on. Which is what we did quite a lot and unfortunately we didn’t buy that much and I was suffering with the extreme heat again. We couldn’t quite find what we were looking for and so we bought a box that we would store in the hotel until we return on the 29 December and then perhaps fill the box up and post it off. We had a quick shower at the hotel and got to the bus stop to catch the bus to Mui Ne. The bus left at 20h00 and we arrived in Mui Ne at about 1am. Luckily we had booked a hotel so we didn’t have to search for one in the early hours of the morning. We heard the sound of the waves and we smelt the smell of the sea and we were happy. Plenty of palm trees were spotted as we looked up to admire the full moon before we collapsed into bed.
