We left Dalat and we were heading to Nha Trang with our friends. The bus ride was very comfortable. This time we were on a luxury bus and we even got a free bottle of water. The trip cost us a whole $2.5 each for a 5 hour bus journey. Leaving Dalat and its mountains was a pretty journey and the mountains were so green with manicured fields, coffee plantations and rice fields. When we arrived in Nha Trang we searched for accommodation and it took a while to find the right spot for the right price. We picked up an Aussie couple (Claudia and Rob) along the way so Rich had loads of negotiating power. We found a superb spot for $30 per couple on the beach- it was great and everyone was happy. It happened to be called Phu Quy 2 i.e. fuck u 2. Rich kept saying it and asked everyone to say it to make sure we remembered where we were staying! Quite a laugh! We all made our way to the sailing club for a drink (or two). It was on the beach and quite expensive but we decided to spend the afternoon chatting and having a laugh and we all hobbled back to the hotel at around 17h00. We then went out for dinner- I was back on form and obviously was not going to miss out on a seafood dinner. We had a lovely platter to share, met up with more Canadians and had a drink with them after dinner. I was really looking forward to bed and so we called it a night.
