We all woke up feeling a bit shaky after the previous night’s ‘partying’ and Frank and Rob were really not well. But, we all left for the four island boat tour. It was quite a poor tour all in all and nothing to rave about but we made the most of it. I think one had to get drunk to enjoy it! The first stop was in a quiet cove (coral reef) and we jumped into the ocean for some snorkeling and swimming. I stubbed my toe trying to get my mask on and got a bit of a gash- nothing too serious. Then we had lunch on the boat which was not really edible and they had promised us a seafood lunch? We stopped at two more islands and we had to pay at every stop, and for soft drinks, can you believe that?! We even had to pay to swim in the ocean. Everything was a bit disappointing and it wasn’t expensive but really upsetting. They tried to sing for us on the boat (really funny) and then there was a floating bar, this was something to see. I will try to describe it for you: A Vietnamese fellow sitting on a little rafter with a bottle of mulberry wine pouring into tiny plastic cups. Everyone in the water swimming around getting their cups filled. We were happy to get back to Phu Que 2 (our hotel) and went for another delicious seafood dinner. We were all tired and had an early night.
