Back in Honolulu and we headed out to Waikiki – the famous beach! We started looking for a place to stay and it took a while but we found a great hotel two blocks from the beach and it was very reasonably priced for American standards. We went for a long walk along the beach and had a wonderful day taking in the vibe. The beach is great and the water is so blue and clean. We are not sure how long we will be here, perhaps a few more days? It is so nice since there is no deadline?

We are now back to our backpacking ways - looking for hotels, places to eat and things to do, but we are loving it (more independent).
