We woke up ready for the ferry to Vancouver but not quite ready to leave Victoria. It was a beautiful, sunny day and the harbor looked so pretty. When we arrived at the ferry station they told us there would be an hour delay- that was absolutely fabulous- NOT- as ‘Borat’ would say! (That is for you Perry and Laureen; and for those of you who have watched the movie). When we arrived in Vancouver Richard’s friend Laureen picked us up and since it was such good weather we went straight to Granville Island. We browsed around the market and the crafts and boutique shops but it was quite cold and we headed to Perry and Laureens’ home. We loved their cozy abode and we met Asher and Daniel, their two little boys. The main feature of the evening was the Spaghetti Bolognese, without a doubt, and it was really wonderful to be in a home environment again.
