We woke up exhausted- how surprising- day 4 and we are still struggling with the time zones?! This wasn’t even funny anymore since we couldn’t plan what to do in all the islands. The days were flying by and we found ourselves in a different island every day. We were now in Kauai (a town called Nawiliwili) and didn’t know how we would spend the day. The problem is that you are on the clock the whole time (excuse the pun) because you don’t want the ship to leave without you. There were free shuttles running to the main shopping malls but that was the last thing we wanted to do. To cut a long story short, we should have rented a car- we didn’t – and so we had a few hours on the beach and then found ourselves on a hammock in the beautiful gardens of the Marriott Hotel. Dinner was superb- Lobster – but, the ship started to rock and roll and I felt really ill! Say no More! Oh, we spotted an egg-shell print/picture that we purchased in Vietnam for less than $10 and we saw it in a shop here for $195. Can you believe that?
