1 February, 2007

We woke up at 7 and decided to sleep until 9 – good call. What was the rush anyway? We went to rent our skis and boots and breakfast was a bit of a rush and a little stressful but we made the bus and we were on our way to Mt Norquay to ski. We tried to get in with a lesson but they were all full so we were on our own. We were quite nervous at first and so we started on the bunny slope just to get some confidence. Then we moved on to the chairlift and got to the green run and we practiced the whole afternoon. It was really fun and we were very proud of ourselves. Not too many falls and we came out alive with no broken bones. We were ‘exploring’ so to say and we were so glad that we never had another lesson. The sun was shining and it was very pretty but it was really cold. Our legs were burning by the end of it all and we caught the bus back to our hotel. We headed straight for the Jacuzzi and steam to try and warm up a little. Dinner was delicious since we found a reasonably priced Sushi House and that is my favorite- as some of you know!
