We woke up to the most amazing breakfast. Fresh hot rolls, fried banana and lots of other goodies all served in the thatch with views of the ocean and the sound of the birds. It was a lazy day sitting by the pool and then venturing to the beach for the afternoon sun. A nice long walk on the beach again- this time even further and coming back as the sun was setting a few crabs were strolling along the waters edge- cute. Dinner was quite entertaining because the food was not great and it was a buffet of meats and so the dogs on the beach got fed very well. We had about three or four dogs all around us and I enjoyed it because at least some of us were enjoying dinner. There was live music too and so the atmosphere was really good. Our feet in the sand, perfect warm weather, and chilled or should I say trilled out Brazilians around. We met a Brazilian couple from Sao Paulo (Fernando and Karina) and they helped us plan the remainder of our trip in Brazil. We hope to meet up with them over the next few days and share a few cervejas (or maybe sucos (fruit juices) – since they don’t drink alcohol). It is very safe here and lit up at night, even for our trek up the hill to our pousada. We leave our room keys in the hammock outside our door- we are so free…
