Hello to all you fellow workers. It is another glorious day on this magnificent island and we have big decisions to make. Are we going to stay by the pool or head to the beach- and which beach?? You see, it is tough on this island. We decided to do a few stops and so we started on 2nd beach- this is by far the most crowded and ‘happening’ beach. We lay there for a while, soaked up the heat, and walked to 3rd beach. We found a quiet spot in the shade under the palms, and the water breaking at our feet. Our tummies started talking and so just next to where we lay was a restaurant with tables and chairs on the sand. We plonked ourselves down and a really friendly local served us. An awesome meal and three Capirinhas later, (each) we were passed out on 2nd beach dead to the world. When we woke up it was already sunset and so we quickly got to the old fort from where there is a fake sunset over the Atlantic; it was a bit cloudy though. We trekked back up to our place and swam and headed back for dinner. But, we couldn’t really find a restaurant we liked and so we landed up having a crepe with chocolate and banana on the beach. There are many restaurants here but we have not had good food yet, except for the one and only- on 3rd beach which is closed at night. There was no party tonight and so we decided to get to bed early.
