We did another long walk today all the way passed the mangroves and to 5th beach. It was very far but very quiet too and the tide was still low. We sat on the hard sand until the water came up and then we made our way back stopping at 4th beach for a few dips in the ocean. We finally reached our restaurant on 3rd and had some late lunch as the sun was setting. Our waiter is such a honey and he always serves us. He knows how we like our caipirinhas too. We then found a travel agency with a fellow named Floyd who helped us book our last three weeks of vacation in Brazil. We have to fly to most places because this country is so big. Tonight is a big night because it is the weekend but there is also a disco and it should be a BIG party. We had our usual swim in the pool after our sweaty trek back to the pousada and we soaked up the quiet and calm before heading down to the village. We met up with Jessica and Kiko from our pousada and we all had a light snack on the beach enjoying some cocktails. At about midnight we got to the disco with our VIP cards and it was quiet at first. The disco was an open air disco. This is possible since the weather on the island is just perfect. We also met our American friends (Judy and Adrienne) who we had met earlier at Floyd’s travel agency and we all chatted about Brazil and our travels. Then it started to fill up and we left at about 2h00 am - it was getting too late for us ‘old toppies’. We also realized that we had a hectic day ahead of us the next day so we needed some sleep.
